Abbey Oak is stunning house which was modernised inside & out including oak panelling, new en-suite bathrooms, a play room and new entrance hall with a new front door. We also built new front steps in hand cut York stone built.
We removed approximately 800 tons of chalk to build a new oak framed extension to house the extra rooms, including a new main bedroom/en-suite bathroom. We then refurbished the whole of the rest of the house. The house was completed in brick and flint and reclaimed tiles to ensure the extension fitted in with the existing structure.
In addition, at the bottom of the garden, we also built a new workshop & double garage with a studio apartment. The garden was landscaped using the soil that was removed for the extension, raising the height of the lawn by two feet.
